Platform recommendations
/tokenomics/recommendations generates evidence-backed FinOps recommendations from recent
observations. Platform admins can run and act on analysis; platform-admin
viewers can inspect results.
Open the page and understand scope
Select Tokenomics in the sidebar, then Platform recommendations in the
switch under the page title (shown to platform admins), or open /tokenomics/recommendations. The page
heading stays Tokenomics. Platform admins can also find Platform
recommendations with Search in the top bar. Old /optimization links
redirect here. This section preserves administrative checks alongside
application token efficiency without a duplicate sidebar entry. ADMIN
users can run the platform-wide analysis and change recommendation state.
ADMIN_VIEWER users can inspect evidence and estimates without mutation.
Other roles see Platform administrator access required and an Open token
efficiency link to Tokenomics.
These checks have platform-wide scope even when an organization is selected. Token efficiency reports use the selected organization and application filters. Savings estimates from the two views may overlap; do not add them together.
The top cards show recommendation count, estimated savings, high-confidence items, and open work for the selected status filter (All statuses, Open, Accepted, Dismissed or Applied). Each recommendation shows its type, status, subject, cost estimates, confidence, evidence, and proposed action.
The analyzer can identify:
- unpriced traffic
- missing attribution
- spend anomalies
- idle keys and unused deployments
- cheaper-model opportunities
- duplicate agents
Each recommendation records its evidence, proposed action, current and projected cost where available, estimated savings, and confidence. Missing attribution and unpriced traffic may have no savings estimate.
Review workflow
- Choose Run analysis to create or refresh recommendations.
- Inspect Evidence and proposed action; do not treat estimated savings as realized savings.
- Choose Accept (open recommendations only) or Dismiss.
- Apply only actions marked safe to apply with Review action. For a model-routing proposal marked approval required, choose Request routing approval and complete the governance workflow. Recommendations without a safe action show manual review only.
Each decision opens a confirmation dialog with an optional Decision note for the team reviewing it. Dismissed and applied recommendations have no further actions.
A lower model price is not evidence of equivalent quality. Model substitutions remain proposals unless workload-specific evaluation and routing constraints support the change.
The page helps teams prioritize reviewable opportunities while keeping automatic safe actions separate from changes that require governance. See FinOps relationship and data flow.
